Pathfinder was a cooperative project with the consumer electronic giant, Garmin. Over 8 weeks, lead designers at Garmin offered collaboration in refining rough ideas into hypothetical concepts that aligned with their brand and design language.

After going through multiple ideas, refinements, iterations, and final proposals, the final product was one that would revolutionize how the visually impaired could lead an independent lifestyle. Pathfinder is a mechanical braille smart-watch with GPS technology.
